Strathcona County has kicked off the month of May with their annual census.
Beginning May 13, census workers will make their rounds knocking door-to-door collecting information on individual households and dwellings.
Residents within the municipality should have received a census letter, containing a PIN, and detailed information on how to complete the census online.
The 2024 Municipal Census will gather information for each household focusing on age, gender, dwelling type, primary language along with the length of their residency within the county.
As not all residents have access to a computer, there are measures in place which include the option of calling the census office at 780-400-3800.
Operating hours for the phone-in census are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, with hours extended to 7 p.m. on May 2, May 3 and May 6-10.
