A shelter in place advisory that was issued early this morning in Strathcona County has since been lifted and one person is now facing charges.
Mounties issued a press release detailing an investigation into a firearms complaint and asked residents to shelter in place in the area of Range Road 222 and 223, North of Highway 16 to Township Road 532. Residents were advised to stay indoors and avoid the area.
Then approximately 15 minutes later, the warning was lifted and one man was taken into custody according to RCMP.
No identification of the man, or specifics related to the incident have been made available at this time.
