Indigenous Boys Matter Too program with Ambrose Cardinal

The Creating Hope Society of Alberta has been running an ongoing program called “Indigenous Boys Matter Too!”, a non-therapeutic program that promotes wellness for Indigenous men.

The program is meant to help Indigenous men start their healing journey, better themselves, and teach Indigenous ceremony and culture.

The first cycle of the brand-new program is currently underway, while the second cycle is set to open up in April and kick off in May.

Ambrose Cardinal, program coordinator of “Indigenous Boys Matter Too!,” spoke with CFWE about how the purpose of the program is to “provide a base-cultural knowledge and an understanding of how to better themselves through our culture.”
