The Canadian Armed Forces Bold Eagle Program is now looking for new applicants to join in on the six week program, with a combination of military training and Indigenous cultural teachings.
Trent Gervais, Bold Eagle Coordinator for 3rd Canadian Division Training Centre from Wainwright Alberta speaks on the humble beginnings of the Bold Eagle program and the positive impacts it’s made on many Indigenous youth.

Gervais highlights what many participants can expect in the six week summer training program in Wainwright, which includes attending a Pow Wow, weapons training, and outdoor training.

Gervais adds that previous applicants have gone on to post secondary education, or becoming police officers, along with pursuing to become military officers after completing the Bold Eagle program.
