The Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement has called a fire ban in response to the hot and dry conditions to help prevent wildfires.
No outdoor fires are permitted until further notice, including burning barrels and fireworks, including firepits and charcoal barbecues.
Anyone using ATV’s or other motorized vehicles are to be mindful of debris collecting on exhaust systems.
