Lloydminster & Vermilion For Equity are set to host the food clothing and bottle drive inside the Lloydminster City Hall on April 20th.
The drive is looking for donations of clothes, shoes and non perishable items to aid the unhoused residents in the community.
Tigra-Lee Campbell, co-founder and director of Lloydminster & Vermilion for Equity says they are pretty pumped for their first-ever donation drive to have a positive impact on the communites.
Campbell says that they are hopeful that community members will see that it’s all about helping out one another, with all the donations going towards helping those in need of the items given.
Campbell speaks on the needed items such as non-perishable food items and clothes that will be given to the unhoused community within Lloydminster and Vermilion.
