Homes were being evacuated Tuesday afternoon on the Enoch Cree First Nation due to a large grass fire.
RCMP said the fire was near Range Road 264, between Township Road 523 and 524.
At 4:30pm, RCMP said residences surrounding the fire had been evacuated.
According to Wildfire Alberta, as of April 9, there were 50 wildfires bringing in the province, with two deemed out of control.
