Randhile speaks on the importance of uplifting Indigenous men across Alberta that contribute to their communities, with many previous recipients saying they don’t do their contributions to receive awards such as the Okimaw.
Randhile says that it’s a beautiful thing to be a part of showcasing the work of many Indigenous men across the province and for them to be the symbol of a positive role model for young men in their communities with the inspiration to be what they always wanted to be in life.
