The Otipemisiwak Metis Government and Access for All Dentistry is making it’s way to Faust Community Hall in Slave Lake to bring free dental work to local MNA citizens in District 21 from April 15-19.
Bobbi Paul-Alook, Secretary of Health and Seniors for the MNA says they are really excited to bring the free dental services to Slave Lake, as the success rate was high in communities like Lac La Biche and Red Deer.
Alook speaks on the importance of dental care within the Metis communities, along with helping to build community and connections and providing wrap around services for dental to MNA citizens.
Alook speaks on the services that the free dental clinic will provide to MNA citizens that applied for the services, such as cleanings, fillings and extractions.
Alook is hoping that they are creating an opportunity to opening doors for those that are in need of dental services and reducing barriers with the help of working alongside the University of Alberta’s Access For All Dental Services.
