The Battle of the Bands First Nations Team Pool Championships took place inside the Red Deer Resort and Casino, where hundreds of competitors from across Alberta competed in the Men’s, Women’s and Seniors divisions.
CFWE spoke with Ralph Auigbelle, organizer of the Battle of the Bands Team Pool Championships. He says it’s phenomenal to see the championship tournament underway inside the newly attached facility at the Red Deer Resort and Casino.

Auigbelle goes on to talk about his goal on watching First Nations People excel at the highest level of tournament pool, and says that since 2012 the skill level has grown upwards to 75 percent over the years.
