The Traditional Path Society is celebrating the 10th Year Anniversary and Spring Solstice on March 19th in Grande Prairie.
Fern Rogers, President of the Traditional Path Society spoke with CFWE as she says that it’s unbelievable that it’s been 10 years of teaching the children and seeing the community grow.
Rogers talks about what many community members can expect at this years gathering, with traditional dancers, feast and a bannock competition.
Rogers highlights her fondest memory of the children and families within the community coming together and expanding the society from the gym to the pow wow trails, along with teaching new kids over the many years that followed.
