Many gathered in solidarity for the National Day of Action in Churchill Square in Edmonton to bring awareness about human trafficking and the MMIW.
CFWE Radio spoke with Earth Woman, organizer of the gathering, as she says it’s about the community coming together and bringing awareness with one another.

The group started with seven women with sharing stories about how they lost loved ones, as Earth Woman adds that the women on the posters are more than just names and faces, as the message of their tragic stories bring the message loud and clear to search the landfills.

Earth Woman urges many to continue the conversation and to help raise awareness as it helps in many ways, and to aid in families in healing.
