The Edmonton International Judo Championships are underway at West Edmonton Mall’s Ice Palace, where 1,250 athletes are competing in various age groups and skill levels.
Mark Hicks, tournament director spoke with CFWE Radio about the tournament, as says it’s going to be packed with action all weekend long.
Hicks says Judo is for everyone for young and old, along with various skill sets showcase a beautiful mixed bag of athletes competing.
Hicks adds that the sport is made to teach good morals and values, and to help get in great shape by doing it along the way.
