ALERT Lloydminster’s organized crime unit have seized a large amount of cash, drugs and weapons from a pair of dealers.
On February 7th, the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams searched a home in Edmonton, Dewberry and four vehicles. They found $40,000 worth of suspected cocaine and more than $2,000 in cash.
The investigation began in November 2023 after crews received a tip. ALERT said the suspects were based in Dewberry and selling drugs in the Lloydminster area.
Crews arrested two men, aged 38 and 39 were charged with various offences related to drugs and weapons.
