One of the men involved in the death of two Metis men will be allowed to leave prison on temporary un-escorted leaves.
Jacob Sansom and Morris Cardinal were chased, shot and killed in rural Alberta in March 2020.
Roger Bilodeau is serving a 10 year sentence while his son, Anthony was convicted of second degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole.
60 year old Roger Bilodeau’s parole request was approved, giving him the chance to see his family for up to 72 hours per month and attend church.
