The City of Edmonton says that they will be conducting a simulated emergency on the Valley Line southeast at the Mill Woods stop.
The simulated emergency will start at 11 a.m. on Friday, no other stops will be impacted and regular LRT services will continue using the south platform.
The exercise will be staging a collision between a car and a train.
The city says the exercise is to enhance emergency response times for first responders, including the City of Edmonton and TransEd.
Edmonton Fire Rescue Services first responders will be on site.
City officials say there may be some delays in traffic adjacent to the Mill Woods stop, and are asking those travelling in the area Friday morning to follow directions from the emergency services crew.
The simulated emergency is expected to last 2 hours.
