Fairview emergency room will be without doctor until February 17th

The Fairview hospital emergency department will have no doctor coverage from Feb. 15, and from 7:00 a.m. on Feb. 16 to 7:00 a.m. on Feb. 17.

Nurses will remain on site to provide any emergency assessments and referrals to other emergency rooms in neighbouring communities.

In the event of a medical emergency, patients are asked to call 9-1-1 and get directed to surrounding healthcare centres.

If coverage is found, the disruption could be cancelled.
