Twenty-three female hockey teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan will be in Lloydminster this weekend for the 4th Meridian Female Tournament.
The age groups include U11, U13B, U13A, U15, and U18 comprising over 400 female athletes for a total of 96 games. The competition starts Friday at 1 p.m., running all day Saturday.
Championship games will be played on Sunday at Servus Sports Center, Russ Robertson Arena, and Archie Miller.
