After a stretch of bitter cold conditions, Edmonton residents will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful sights of winter with the annual Deep Freeze Festival.
The first festival of 2024 will be hosted on Alberta Avenue Saturday and Sunday. The weather will sit at a comfortable -13 and -14 throughout the weekend.
The festival includes music, arts and treats from a number of cultures: Ukrainian, French Canadian, Franco African, Indigenous, Latin American and Asian.
