On January 30th, the first-ever Esquao Job Fair will take place inside the Clairview Community Recreation Centre, where a diverse range of employers will have jobs for Indigenous peoples to inquire about, and to help create future career paths.
Allison Poiron, skills employment and training team lead at Esquao spoke with Windspeaker Radio Network about her excitement on their first-ever job fair.
Poiron says there will be over 30 employers that will be set up at the Esquao Job Fair for networking with fellow professionals and to expand their connections within their chosen career paths.
Poiron adds that the Esquao Job Fair is creating an environment for everyone to feel comfortable with the team that can help anyone to overcome any barriers that are on their paths towards to success.
