3rd Annual Skijoring for MS event aims to raise money towards a cure

The third annual Skijoring for MS event is coming to Cold Lake for March 9th at the Exhibition Park to raise awareness and money towards a cure, with winter action with skiing and snowboarding, and many activities for families to enjoy with free admission.

CFWE spoke with James Purdy, organizer of the Skijoring for MS in Cold Lake speaks on his families involvement within the event, and as someone diagnosed with MS aiming to raise money towards a cure.

Purdy says it’s a ridiculous amount of fun for community members and participants within the event, and is amazed with how the community comes together to make the event possible.

With Purdy’s team being involved with raising money for MS Canada, they raised over 700,000 dollars, along with the Skijoring event raising close to 50 thousand dollars in the past three years.
