Four people who attempted to rip an ATM out of a Sangudo bank were caught in the act, leaving three arrested.
RCMP were called to the Sangudo Servus Credit Union just after midnight on Wednesday January 3rd for a break and enter. When crews arrived to the scene the suspect vehicle was compromised, the four suspects ran with three of them getting arrested.
A 24-year-old man from Edmonton, a 23-year-old woman from Stony Plain and a 29-year-old woman from Edmonton are each facing 11 charges including break and enter, theft over $5,000 and assaulting a police officer.
One of the suspects has not been identified or arrested. Any tips can be sent to the Mayerthorpe RCMP at 780-786-2800.
