Police have arrested Anton Grandjambe who was charged with killing a 60 year old man in the community, ending a weeks long manhunt.
On December 5th, officers responded to a firearms complaint on Target Road in Fort McKay which issued a shelter in place. Crews later said Russell John Shott was gunned down in the community.
A warrant was issued for Grandjambe’s arrest, he was later arrested on December 28th on the Gregoire Lake Reserve. Grandjambe remains in police custody and will appear in court on January 3rd.
