The Creating Hope Society is inviting families to come together to celebrate the holidays with their annual holiday community feast at the Edmonton Intercultural Centre on December 12 from 5-9 P.M.
Bernadette Iahtail, executive director of Creating Hope Society spoke with Windspeaker Radio Network, as she says her team is preparing the feast, as well as getting Santa to arrive for gifting presents to the children.
For Children 12 years and under, Iahtail says that over 189 gifts are ready to be given to children this year at the Holiday Community Feast this year.
Iahtail says it’s time for giving towards the community, and reminds community members to not get hung up on gifts, but to instead celebrate one another during the holiday season.
