A 32 year old man from Red Deer has been charged with the killing of a 23 year old woman, also from Red Deer.
Shaeliegh Jahner was found dead in an apartment building in the area of 59 Ave and 60 Street on November 24th. The community was placed under a shelter in place for multiple hours while crews investigated.
At 7:30pm that night, the suspect was arrested, he was charged with manslaughter with a firearm.
He’ll appear in Alberta Court of Justice on December 1st.
