Four people including a child were sent to hospital following a late night crash near the Edmonton International Airport.
Around 6:30pm on Sunday, crews were called to Highway 19 between Range Road 253 and 254. Investigators think one of the vehicles hit a deer on the Highway and crossed over into the oncoming lane.
The 66 year old driver and one of his passengers, a 10 year old boy were seriously hurt, the man was in stable condition while the second passenger of the vehicle a 65 year old woman was in life threatening condition.
A 38 year old woman was driving the other vehicle, a Toyota Camry. She was also hospitalized with serious, life-threatening injuries.
