A man is in police custody after Fort Saskatchewan residents were told to shelter in place Sunday.
On Sunday morning, an Alberta Emergency Alert was issued by the RCMP at 11:50 a.m.
On Social Media, Police said at 9:53 a.m., a 32 year old man was involved in a firearms-related incident and was believed to be in the Pineview area with two guns.
Around 1:15 p.m., RCMP found the man at an apartment building near 94 Avenue and 94 Street in Fort Saskatchewan.
He was arrested “without incident.”
