Uppal was known to EPS, he was targeted at a Royal Pizza shooting in October of 2021.
EPS Acting Supt. Colin Derksen spoke to Media on Friday and says it’s been a rough couple years for gang violence in the city.
Though these incidents are targeted, Derksen urges the public to exercise caution and avoid creating conflicts with others.
Autopsies for Uppal and his son have been scheduled for November 13th and 14th.
