Throughout the Month of November, The Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter in Rocky Mountain House is hosting a campaign to spread awareness around domestic violence.
With the Purple Lights Campaign, residents can show their support as well as spread awareness by adding a purple lightbulb to their front doors, across their fences, or where ever you hang lights.
Show support for those that are experiencing violence and abuse, those who have experiences violence and abuse and are still working to piece themselves and their lives back together, and those who have lost their lives as a result of family violence and abuse
You can purchase Purple Lights at the Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter. They run for $5/single bulb, or $20 for string lights.
