The Edmonton Police Service seized $1.8M in cocaine, making it the biggest single busts in it’s history.
In September, the Gang Suppression Team began investigating a 40 year old man who was believed to be involved in drug trafficking. On October 27th, police pulled him over and found 40.5kg of cocaine in his vehicle, leading to his arrest.
Randhir Singh Gill has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He’ll appear in court on November 8th.
Staff Sgt. Eric Stewart said this is the single biggest cocaine seizure in EPS’ history.
