Maskwacis and partners have constructed a fully functional recording studio in the west wing of HBMC. They have done this in memory of the late Shane Yellowbird, who passed away in April of 2022. This was built in hopes of inspiring the next generations to pursue the fine arts.
Shane and others in the community have helped pave the way in the music industry so the door will be open for generations to come. Aside from the music aspect they have created a safe place for our youth to showcase their talents as I believe we can heal through art.
