RCMP have arrested a 29-year-old man in relation to a killing at a Lac La Biche home earlier this month.

On September 4, RCMP were following up on a well-being check which led police to the home where officers, along with the emergency response team, found the body of 22-year-old Cason Monias.

An autopsy determined the cause of death to be a homicide.Police have charged Ronal Giroux-Belcourt with second-degree murder and aggravated assault.
