The Poundmaker’s Lodge Shoe Drive is underway at Kingsway Garden Mall, where many shoppers can donate shoes in the donation box.
Windspeaker Radio Network spoke with Carla Jamison, the community engagement officer with Poundmakers Lodge as she talks about the Shoe Drive’s inception, and how the new shoes will make positive impacts towards the lodges clients in recovery and healing that are in need of new footwear.

Jamison speaks on Danny Floyd Cole, as he will be performing at the Mall at the Hyperpop by Hudson’s Bay inside Kingsway Mall on the 14th.

Jamison is hopeful that the shoe drive becomes an annual event going forward, as she says that the clients in recovery and healing having new shoes is important as they embark on a new life.
