Edmontonians will have a new river valley park to explore later this month.
The new park, previously known as Our Lady of Peace Ranch North is located directly north of the North Saskatchewan River will soon have a new name following public engagement.
Juanita Spence, supervisor of river valley parks and facilities, said later this fall Edmonton residents will have their say to help develop the park.
The 190 acre park, which is slightly larger than Hawrelak Park will have their opening day on September 24th which will include many different activities including camping lessons and food trucks.
The Park will be open from 11am-4pm and is located at 903 153 Avenue NE.
