An extensive search is underway at a central Alberta lake for a missing teen from Airdrie.
On Tuesday afternoon, Stettler RCMP received a report of a possible drowning on Buffalo Lake near Ol’ MacDonalds Resort.
17 year old Ajay Purba had been floating on a tube on the lake with family and friends before possibly drowning, RCMP confirmed.
An RCMP drone, fire crews and a STARS air ambulance were all deployed to search for Purba.
Crews will be on scene searching the water for the next few days.
