An Edmonton man is wanted in connection with a bear spraying incident in Lamont.
On Thursday, a man wearing a gas mask entered a restaurant in the small community North East of Edmonton just after 11:30 p.m, and discharged a canister of the wildlife deterrent spray and then fled the scene in a blue Kia Soul, according to a witness statement made to responding officers.
Nicolas Alex Dupuis, 23, of Edmonton, is now facing nine counts of assault with a weapon and police are looking for him. He is describes as 5’ 10: and 210 lbs with blond hair and brown eyes. According to police, he was last seen wearing red shorts and a backpack.
