The Frog Lake First Nations Pow Wow will be hosted at the Six Chiefs Cultural grounds for July 25th-27th in Frog Lake Alberta.
With men and women dance competitions, to drumming competitions and vendors set attendees to check out throughout the pow wow weekend.
CFWE spoke with President of the Frog Lake First Nations Pow Wow Gary Quinney, he says spectators will see many dancers from Alberta, B.C, Saskatchewan and the United States competing at the event.
Quinney says that in the previous year for the Pow Wow event seen over 800 dancers competing at the event, and is hopeful to see similar numbers for this years gathering.
Quinney tells CFWE he enjoys seeing the younger generations carry on the traditions from dancing, singing and drumming at the Frog Lake Pow Wow.
