Peace Regional RCMP is currently investigating a report of a capsized boat, floating down the Peace River.
A witness described the watercraft as having a red bottom, black lettering, and a similar size to a jet boat.
It was last seen floating downstream from the Highway 986 bridge, and police are trying to determine if it was carried away by rising water levels or not being fully secured, or if this is an emergency situation.
