Evacuation Order for residents along Old Smith Highway

The MD of Lesser Slave River have issued an evacuation order for all residents along Old Smith Highway from Township Road 715 (Smith Bridge) to Range Road 45 (Tollenaar Bridge).

Please evacuate now as there is a fire moving towards the Old Smith Highway.

Gather pets, important documents and medication, enough food, water and supplies for at least 3 days.

A reception center is set up and located at the Flatbush Community Complex located at 661001 Highway 44. All evacuees are required to register at the reception center. To register by phone, call 780-849-0608 or 780-805-6320.
