On May 11th, The 2023 Indspire Awards were held inside the Edmonton Convention Centre, honoring former & current recipients.
There was live performances by acclaimed artists Aysanabee, Riit, and Notorious Cree, and dynamic public speaker Stan Wesley was the Master of Ceremonies.
President/CEO of Indspire Mike DeGagné said the night was “Tremendous” and told Windspeaker Radio network, it was all about celebrating the achievements many Indigenous people have accomplished over three decades.

DeGagné talks about the meaning behind the award, and the importance the recipient has done to positively impact lives around them and to inspire along the way.
