The 11th Alberta Open Farm Days will take place August 19-20, 2023.
Albertans will learn how your food is produced, experience the diverse farms operating in the province, discover the many local products created in Alberta and explore local farmers & producers.
In 2022, more than 110 farms hosted and welcomed over 16,000 Albertans to their farms and ranches. Afterward, 92 per cent of farmers said they would host again.
so far, 117 farms have signed up to participate in the 2023 edition.
Tim Carson, Chief Executive Officer of the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies and Open Farm Days, says it is a great opportunity for the general consumer to connect with their producers.
