Edmonton Fire crews were on scene of a large brush fire near the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald in downtown Edmonton Thursday evening.
The fire, which was extinguished shortly before 10pm, had erupted from the hillside in front of the Hotel Macdonald
EFRS said there doesn’t appear to be any damage to the hotel.
The brush fire was declared under control at 10:15 p.m. It was declared out at 10:48 p.m.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
