The City of Edmonton has launched a bystander awareness campaign called “One Strong Voice” that aims to educate people on how to help others actively being affected by harassment or violence in transit and other public spaces in an effective and safe manner.
Sarah Feldman, Director of Business Integration and Workforce Development with the Edmonton Transit Service, spoke with the Windspeaker Radio Network about the campaign and what it’s offering to Edmontonians.

“One Strong Voice” is a part of a bigger plan by the City to help combat the uptick of crime and violence in Edmonton. The campaign stemmed from feedback from the city, and the people.
Feldman says that there are clear goals in mind with the One Strong Voice campaign that the city is hoping to accomplish as time passes.
