Many attended the Canadian premiere of One Sky, a brand new planetarium movie screening in the Zeidler Dome Theatre.
One Sky is a collection of seven short films, representing a different culture or Indigenous perspective. When all movies are connected it tells a larger narrative, exploring the connection to the stars.
Sébastien Gauthier is a filmmaker, dome specialist, 360° cinematographer (DOP) and a fulldome film director. Since his first release in 2009, he’s worked on more than twenty full dome productions including One Sky. He discussed the importance of Indigenous representation in his latest project
Gauthier goes on to mention everyone who checks out “One Sky” will take something different away from each film and have more stories to share.
