On August 10 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Calgary based radio station CJWE, Alberta’s Best Country had it’s windows featuring Indigenous dancers vandalized.
CCTV footage from the station showed a man using a heavy object smashing two windows which are decorated with photos of Indigenous POWWOW dancers taken by renowned Blackfoot photographer and CEO of Aboriginal Multi Media Society of Alberta Bert Crowfoot.
Windspeaker Media reached out to Crowfoot about the incident.
Crowfoot say’s that the action of the individual does not reflect the greater community of Calgary.

Calgary Police Service is investigating the vandalism.
