A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Acheson, AB on Monday morning after attempting to cross Highway 16.
According to RCMP, a collision was reported around 5:35 a.m after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
Both eastbound lanes of Highway 16, west of Highway 60, had been temporarily closed on Monday morning while RCMP inbestigated the collision.
The collision scene had been cleared as of 9:50 a.m., according to RCMP.
According to commuters, STARS ambulance landed on site to transport.
