A popular energy drink being promoted by social media influencers is being recalled in Canada.
Health Canada says Prime Energy exceeds the acceptable caffeine limit of 180mg per can. Health Canada added Prime Energy is different than the Prime Hydration drink may be sold in some Canadian stores without approval.
Both Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are working to address the issue.
Prime Hydration is the non-caffeinated version of Prime Energy and is among various energy drinks that are popular among teens.
