The Edmonton First Responders Rodeo will be celebrating their fourth annual event at the kinsman rodeo grounds in St. Albert on July 15, where first responders from Edmonton will compete and promote awareness to raise funds in support of first responders PTSD and child protection.
Windspeaker Media spoke with Brian Griffith, president of the Edmonton First Responders Rodeo Association as he says he is excited for the rodeo, along with eyeing to break records at the event.
Griffith highlights the two benefactors that the rodeo supports in awareness which include; The Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, and The Legacy Place Society.
Griffith says that the first responders competing in the rodeo are made up of Edmonton’s First responders that have never competed in a rodeo event like bull riding, and with safety measures in place, spectators at this years event are in for a wild ride.
