The Maskwacis Employment Centre, in partnership with the Leduc, Nisku, and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a Career and Job Fair at the Howard Buffalo Memorial Center in Maskwacis on November 5.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is supported by the Alberta Chamber of Commerce, as well as provincial and federal governments. The goal of the job fair is to connect potential employers with job seekers from the Four Nations and surrounding areas.
We are working closely together to make sure this is a successful event for everyone involved,” said Nicole Mackinaw, Maskwacis Employment Center job coach.
“We invite all job seekers to come out.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with employers from various industries, learn about current job openings, connect directly with hiring managers and recruitment teams, explore training and employment resources, and expand their professional networks.
“Whether you’re exploring new career opportunities, looking for your next role, considering a career change, or hoping to connect with local employers or employment services agencies, this event provides an opportunity to meet organizations actively hiring in your region,” the Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce stated in a newsletter.
