Tim & The Glory Boys are Canadian country band from British Columbia! You probably know them from their hit songs, Float, Take Me Backroad, Slow Go the Days and their new song, Where We Can’t Be Found.
But what you might not know, is that they were initially a Canadian Christan Band. This stems from Tim’s past work as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the contemporary worship music band, Starfield! Founded in 2000, they released three independent albums and four albums with their signed record label at the time.
Tim released his first solo album in 2013 called, Trees, which got him the GMA Canada Covenant Award for Modern Warship Album of the Year, and the 2014 Juno Award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year.
Then came Tim & The Glory Boys, where they’ve had over 57 million streams, CCMA and Juno recognition, and multiple Top 10 singles.
Now, Tim Neufeld is going back to the beginning of his career, sharing his love for the songs he wrote with Starfield mixed with songs you might recognize from Tim & The Glory Boys. He’s heading out on his first ever solo tour, Campfires + Cathedrals, where he’ll bring all his musical chapters of his life into one room: a local Church in your area.
He calls this tour a bit of a homecoming, through songs, stories, laughter, and a little space to breathe.
Brooklin spoke to Tim about how he feels going out on his first solo tour, where he started his career in music, and what you’ll feel during the show.
Campfire + Cathedrals will be in Whitecourt, Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Linden, Calgary, Taber, Medicine Hat and Swift Current.
